About Helpers Hive

Helpers Hive is a New Zealand local marketplace for small jobs. People can post jobs when they need help, and local helpers can apply for jobs they are able to do nearby.

The basic flow is simple: a job owner posts a job, helpers apply, the job owner selects a helper, and both people can use job chat to confirm details. After completed jobs, users can leave reviews to help build trust across the community.

Helpers Hive includes safety and trust tools such as profile requirements, reports, account moderation, limited profile previews, selected-job chat, and reviews. These tools help users make better decisions, but Helpers Hive does not guarantee identity, safety, job quality, payment, or outcomes.

Premium plans add higher usage limits, urgent posting, boosted applications, selected email notifications, and reduced online job payment platform fees where online payment is available.

Online job payments are being introduced carefully through Stripe. Private or cash payment may still be available, helpers may need to complete payout setup, and Stripe and banks handle payout timing. More detailed legal, payment, and privacy information is available in the Terms page.

Helpers Hive is built by a solo developer. The goal is to make it easier for everyday people to find trusted local help and offer help nearby, while keeping the experience simple, local, and practical.
